Park City Mountain Resort (1345 Lowell Ave, Park City, UT 84060) is the largest ski resort in the United States by acreage, about 35 miles east of Murray via I-80 East and UT-224 — roughly 45 to 60 minutes in normal winter conditions. Holiday weekends and Presidents' Day Weekend push that to 90 minutes or more as resort-bound traffic backs up on I-80 and UT-224 through the Parley's Canyon corridor. Natural History Museum of Utah sits on the University of Utah campus, about 13 miles northeast of Murray. The museum houses world-class dinosaur fossil collections, Native American cultural exhibits, and rotating special exhibitions, and it's one of the most popular field trip and group tour destinations in the state. Bus drop-off is on Wakara Way at the main entrance, with a designated bus loading zone.

The Great Saltair
The Great Saltair is one of Utah's most iconic live music venues — a lakeside pavilion on the south shore of the Great Salt Lake, about 20 miles west of Murray via I-80 West. With a capacity of approximately 4,000, it hosts national touring acts and local festivals across the spring and summer season. The venue sits at the end of a single access road off I-80, and post-show traffic out of the parking area moves slowly.
A charter bus from Murray drops your group at the entrance and stages in the large open lot, then picks everyone up when the show ends — no sitting in the exit queue for an hour after the last song.
